`In pursuance of orders contained in Directorate Letter No. 9-14/2016-SPG dated 09.12.2016 communicated through Chief PMG, Telangana Circle, Hyderabad Memo No.ST/12-1/20216/T.C/I dated19.12.2016, the following Inspector line officials on promotion to Postal Service Group ‘B’ cadre on regular basis in the Level-9 (Rs.53,100-Rs.1,67,800/-) of Pay Matrix (Pre-revised Pay Band-2, Rs.9,300-34,800/- with Grade Pay of Rs.4,800/-) with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post, who are allotted to Hyderabad Region are posted as noted against their names by the Competent Authority with immediate effect and until further orders.

General Conditions:
(i) No re-allotment requests will be entertained within a period of one year. Leave taken for 15 days or more, during this period will not be counted for calculation of one year period for considering requests for re-allotment. Even after completion of one year, the re-allotment requests sent without proper channel will also not be entertained.
(ii) Appointment is conditional to the officer’s placement in the designated Circle/Unit.
(iii) It is the officer’s responsibility to send a copy of the charge report on assumption of the charge on the promoted post to Section Officer (SPG), Postal Directorate, New Delhi for record.
(iv) Officers should be relieved within 15 days from the date of this order. In case posting order from the allotted Circle is not received, the relieving Circle shall relieve the promoted officer and ask the officer to report to the allotted Circle Headquarters.
(v) In case, officer is not willing to accept his promotion , his declination letter in writing should be forwarded to Regional Office within 30 days of issue of Directorate Order. Non assumption of charge after 30 days, without any valid reason, will attract appropriate action against the officer, viz., deemed declination of promotion.
Vigilance / Disciplinary Case, if any:
In case any vigilance/disciplinary case, of the type referred to in O.M.No.22011/2/86-Estt.(A) dated 12.01.88 from DOP&T circulated vide Directorate Memo No.25-19/88-SPG dated 04.05.88 (subsequently) revised vide DOP&T Memo No.22022/4/91-Estt.(A) dated 14.09.92 circulated vide Directorate memo No.25-19/88-SPG dated 13.10.92 is pending against the official, the official should not be relieved for posting without obtaining specific orders from this office. The promotion of the official should not be withheld on the mere ground that disciplinary action is contemplated, except the circumstances when the officer is under suspension or a charge sheet has been issued to the official or prosecution for a criminal charge is pending against the official. The officials against whom any punishment is current except censure and recovery of money, they should not be promoted before expiry of currency of punishment. A report in this regard may be submitted immediately.
Probation period:
The official who has been promoted to the Postal Service Group ‘B’ will be on probation for two years and then their suitability to hold this post will be adjudged on completion of two years of probation. If any official proceeds on leave for a period exceeding 30 days during this period, the probation period will be extended depending upon the period of leave.
Training:
The official will be directly promoted to Postal Service Group ‘B’ cadre without any training for the present. However, they will have to undergo the prescribed training as and when notified by Director, Rafi Ahmed Kidwai, National Postal Academy, Ghaziabad.
Option for fixation of pay:
If the officer who wishes to give option for choosing date for fixation of pay under FR-22(1)(a)(1) should do so within one month from the date of assumption of charge on promotion.
Benefit of TA/TP, joining time etc. shall be permissible to the officers (re-alloted), if the officers have been working in the present Circle of Posting/PTC for one year or more.
PART-C (Transfer/Posting).
The following transfer/posting in the cadre of PS Group ‘B’ is ordered by the Competent Authority with immediate effect, in the interest of service.
